Keppel Land to develop large-scale residential project in Shanghai

Keppel Land Limited (Keppel Land) is poised to capitalise on the urban expansion and growing real estate market of Shanghai, with a new large-scale residential project in Nanhui District. The Shanghai government is also planning to develop the south-eastern tip of Nanhui District into a Harbour City to support activities of Yangshan Port, as well as the trade-related industries and services. The Harbour City will house 800,000 people and several industrial parks spanning 300 sq km by 2020. Keppel Land plans to develop the site into a mixed residential enclave comprising 3,000 homes, spread across low density houses to mid-rise apartment blocks. The development will be complemented by lifestyle amenities such as a clubhouse and retail components.
